Teen Tarot Workshop w/ Austin Public Library

  • Central Branch - Austin Public Library 710 West Cesar Chavez Street Austin, TX, 78701 United States (map)

For hundreds of years, tarot cards have been a source of speculation and myth. This October, teens are invited to separate fact from fiction as they claim tarot as a tool for self-reflection and creative decision-making. Carly, the owner of Sound Sight Tarot, will teach her interpretation techniques based on coaching practices and needs-based communication. Students develop a responsible reading practice as they embrace a grounded and analytical approach to the cards.

The workshop will include a history of tarot cards, guidance on how to interpret tarot images, and support in applying card concepts to real-life scenarios in a practical way. Each participant will receive 1:1 support during class, a tarot deck, a syllabus, a worksheet, and a guide to the 78 card meanings.

This event is free. The first ten sign-ups receive a complimentary tarot deck. Spots are limited. Sign up now!
