Carly Fischer
Owner, Tarot Reader, Teacher, and Author
Tarot came to my hands as a gift from friends. They walked me through my first reading and taught me how to interpret the tarot with love and compassion. This first experience set the template for the rest of my career using tarot is a tool to bring people together and spark meaningful conversations.
I really honed my reading technique while working at Facebook in Austin. Colleagues sought me out after hours to read about upcoming career moves and product launches. In those early days, I learned how a great reading clarifies choices. When I ask the right questions, inspired by the cards, a person can find remarkable answers from within their own heart. Inspired by the positive impact of the sessions, I left tech and founded Sound Sight Tarot in 2017.
My mission is to help people create their future by taking mindful actions today. I aim to keep individuals empowered as they chart their path forward in life. My choice-centered reading approach encourages clients to explore life with a sense of humor and an open mind. My hope is for clients to replace fear of the unknown with an insatiable curiosity for all that may be.
Carly has been nominated as Austin’s Best Tarot Reader in the
Austin Chronicle’s Reader’s Poll every year since 2017!
She authored the companion guide to The Lost Tarot by Hans Bauer and Laurent Daubas. She plans to publish her first book, “Not Your Fortune Teller” in 2024.

Jacqui - Event Concierge
Part entertainer, part educator, and part bouncer… Jacqui joins us at large events to manage the lines, organize the waitlist, and teach people about tarot while they wait for their reading. She is a true gift to our community and has been a part of Sound Sight Tarot since 2017.

Meghan - Virtual Event Tarot Reader
Meghan’s sardonic sense of humor and skill in reading tarot makes her one of Sound Sight’s most treasured members. She has been studying tarot with Carly since 2016 and joined the Sound Sight Apprentice team in 2018. She specializes in offering guidance and support to small businesses and entrepreneurs. No matter who you are or what topic you choose, a reading with Meghan will be as enlightening as it is humorous.

Afton - Event Tarot Team Reader
Afton fuses the wisdom she has gained from being mother, a business owner, and yoga teacher into each of her readings. Her patience and ability to empathize with others are unparalleled in depth. She has studied tarot with Carly since 2016 and joined the apprentice team in 2017. When you experience a reading with Afton, you receive sage advice.
