FAQ
Do you have questions about….
tarot classes?
My beginner classes are designed to support personal tarot practice only. They are not designed to support professional tarot reading development.
I hope tarot can be a tool of the greatest good in a person’s life, enhancing one’s ability to hear their intuition over the noise of the outer world. I enjoy working 1:1 with individuals as they build a personal relationship with the cards and specifically design activities to support this goal.
the origin of tarot?
Few people realize that modern tarot decks began as suited playing cards as early as the 15th century! In the 1700’s French occultists published some of the first literature about reading tarot, which is why we pronounce the word in the French way, “tare-oh”.
Tarot cards are a pack of 78-playing cards with unique illustrations on each card. Each card can have up to six different meanings and their meaning will shift depending on the surrounding cards.
Tarot is constantly evolving. Today, artists embrace all expressions of gender, highlight diversity, and integrate all body shapes making this beautiful tool accessible to people from all walks of life.
tipping etiquette?
I go over and above for every reading and event. Gratuity is deeply appreciated but expected. I accept tips in cash and through my Venmo account, @soundsight. If you enjoyed your experience, please write us a 5-star review here!
the refund policy?
Class tuitions are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Personal sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment. Missed appointments will incur a $20 fee. Events may be rescheduled up to 7-days before the scheduled date. Event deposits are non-refundable.
resources for ongoing support?
People often say tarot sessions feel like therapy, but no matter how cathartic or illuminating a tarot experience feels, it can’t substitute treatment from a licensed therapist or care provider. That’s why we created this list of ongoing support resources.
